Brand identity

Yorkshire Learning Trust

Yorkshire Learning Trust are a new trust formed from a merger between two existing trusts; South York Multi-Academy Trust and The STAR Multi-Academy Trust.

 

The newly formed trust came to us in need of a brand identity that would unite the two and showcase all of their values in one. In initial meetings, the client was conflicted whether to go down a geographical route or not so I offered a concept displaying themes of unity through continuous lines and gradients, a concept with building block like shapes to establish themes of education and collaboration, and a concept with a nod to the Yorkshire rose as their geographical option. Ultimately, the client decided the rose concept suited their needs of a clean and professional brand identity and we continued to adapt this concept further with a full monogram and revised colour palette.​
